Biothis bio is very mini. I have travelled many paths, many careers, many loves and friendships over my 54 years. I now live in a perfect fit little home by water with my dear husband Joseph, an adopted Lhasa Apso (there were 2 at the start of this LJ), 2 kitties and one fish known as Huckleberry Fish. I love my gardens, all of nature, my shambhala buddhist spiritual path, my friends and family and my work with adults and children doing neurofeedback and life coaching and astrology. Which is to say, at the moment, life is a good as it gets.
I am a proud member of the Reality Based Community.
WOW - did this need updating! As of February 2005 - husband leaves marriage, life falls apart, I move to St. Pete FL, life comes back together and then falls apart again. Working on getting on my feet.
OK - Here's my most recent description of myself I just wrote in a comment. I'll leave the above up as it gives a good sense of the journey.
I am almost 60 and feel like 40. I guess I am a slow bloomer as I am coming into my own for the first time in my life, post a very painful divorce.
I am an avid gardener, a meditation instructor and teacher (buddhist tradition) and newly returned to my Jewish roots.
I am learning that sometimes Spirit dissolves everything so the new can be born. I studied and vision quested over two summers with Brooke Medicine Eagle in the gorgeous mountains of Montana. That's where I got my name - Deerdancer Stepping Forth.
